Nghi Son International Port Co., Ltd. (formerly known as Nghi Son International Port Company Limited) was established with 100% capital of Nghi Son Iron and Steel Joint Stock Company, which was registered by the Business Registration Office - Department of Planning. and Thanh Hoa Investment granted the first business registration certificate on April 25, 2017.

 

• September 1, 2017: Vietnam Maritime Administration issued Decision 1369 / QD-CHHVN Announced the opening of seaports for wharves 1, 2 and 2A of Nghi Son International Terminal, receiving incoming ships. 30,000DWT;

 

• January 4, 2018: The Vietnam Maritime Administration issued Decision No. 12 / QD-CHHVN supplementing the capacity to receive container cargo ships up to 30,000 DWT; • April 19, 2018: The Vietnam Maritime Administration issued Document No. 1540 / CHHVN-CTHH to allow berths 1 and 2 to receive vessels up to 70,000 DWT offloaded;

 

• On May 31, 2018: The Vietnam Maritime Administration issued Decision No. 837 / QD-CHHVN supplementing the capacity to receive ordinary liquid cargo ships;

 

• May 4, 2019: Administration of Vietnam Maritime Administration issued Decision No. 627 / QD-CHHVN announced the opening of wharf No 3 - Nghi Son International Terminal;

 

• July 31, 2019: The Vietnam Maritime Administration issued Official Letter No. 2731 / CHHVN-ATANHH approving the bulk ship with a tonnage of up to 10,000 DWT to dock the large ship for cargo handling at Nghi Son - Thanh Hoa International Terminal.

 

• September 27, 2019: The Vietnam Maritime Administration issued Decision No. 1526 / QD-CHHVN announcing the opening of Berth No.4 - Nghi Son International Terminal.

 

Scale planning of the Port: Total area 73.5ha with 09 wharves, total length of 2,147 m.

 

At present, 5 wharves (No. 1, 2, 2A, 3, 4) are being exploited with a total length of 1,247m, the ability to receive general cargo ships (bulk cargo, general cargo, common liquids ...) the tonnage of up to 70,000 DWT is offloaded, container ships are up to 30,000 DWT.

 

Warehouse: outdoor area of ​​33 ha in which the container yard area is 6 ha, completed 03 warehouses with a total area of ​​15,000m2 equipped with automatic fire protection system.

 

Nghi Son International Port has favorable geographical position for sea and road traffic connecting Nghi Son economic zone of Thanh Hoa province and neighboring provinces, invested in facilities and equipment.
